Winegard Dish Traveler Install

Hello: new to the forum; just bought a 2014 Rockwood Ultralite Fifthwheel 8289WS and asked the dealer to install a Winegard Traveler for Dish Network. They advised me that due to the slide out it was not possible to install and they wanted me to buy a portable unit that sets up outside. Not interested in a portable that I have to manually set up all the time when I park and have to hookup/unhook the unit when leaving the campsite. Anyone have any experience with this install on this model?

Thanks

Winegard makes an antenna/dish combo.
It replaces the batwing.
Just a suggestion.

If you always camp where there are very few trees, the roof-mounted dish will be very convenient. I know that the portables are more work, but you can get one that automatically finds the satellite so all you'd have to do is connect it to the SAT IN on your Rockwood and you can keep it if you ever sell your trailer. If you camp in campgrounds with a lot of trees, you'd be better off with a portable dish that you can move to a spot with a better line of sight to the satellite.
