Big difference for us too. Took me longer to climb up & down the ladder than it did to install it.

This topic has been discussed here at length in the past. Not to get too technical, yes, the Wingman helps by adding gain and directivity in the UHF tv band in which a good majority of US and Canada now broadcast on after the switch to Digital tv a few years back. VHF remains unaffected (and some areas do use VHF).

Picked up an additional 20 channels at one of our favorite campgrounds with the wingman and we actually have all our local channels at a nearby state park where we normally only get one or two channels. The install took less than 10 minutes. Well worth the effort.
