Wingman does not fit?

Service tech said the Wingman didn't fit on my Winegard. I'm going to double check with how he was trying to put it on because it looks so simple. The RV store I got it from is surprised because it should fit.

I've put two of these on over the years. There is nothing to it. Unless they meant that there is an obstruction on the roof when the antenna is lowered.

Installation is so simple I was able to put a wingman on my previous fifth wheel myself in a matter of minutes.

On my Silverback I can't put one on because when the antenna is lower the wingman would come down on the bathroom skylight.

I think obstacles are the only problem that a Wingman won't fit on a Sensar antennae. You can cut of the outer cross piece for better clearance, but the reception might suffer some.

Now there is a skylight behind the antenna but no idea how close it is. It's going to be a mystery until Saturday when I pick up my trailer.

Terier, the skylight behind the antennae should not be a problem. The Wingman mounts of the non-post side of the Sensar, so anything in that direction would be a problem.

If one side is a problem, can you move the entire assembly to the other side of the mast?

It might be "upside down" though, I will need to look at how it is mounted and waterproofed. Might involve some "surgery."

Does either the Wingman or Winegard come in different sizes? I think the service tech said that I have the larger antenna so the Wingman I got doesn't fit. I'm dead tired so I may had remember the phone call incorrectly. Tomorrow I have the tech get a ladder so I can take a peek to see what he means.
