Wolf pup 16bhs/Furrion DV3100

Just purchased our first TT. It came with the Furrion DV3100 which is a stereo and DVD player. TT came with the roof mounted HD antenna which uses coax. There are coax outlets inside and one outside so I assumed the DVD would also run through these outlets. I assumed wrong. After trying everything I knew to do to get DVD picture to tv I finally pulled the Furrion out and sure enough there were the RCA cables for the DVD player....hooked to nothing.
My first question is why Forest River put the DVD player in and not put outlets to be able to use it like they did with the coax. To use it in the current configuration I'd have to run RCA cable across the TT to use it inside and out the door to use it outside.
Second question. Before I go to my local RV shop and/or mobile audio/video shop, has anyone else had this issue? If so what was your solution?

There are multiple connections on the back. Mine was hooked up wrong. They had it hooked to wrong connections. Mine did have rca wires. The three that have like plastic caps on them is the ones I had to connect them too. Once I moved connections not outdoor and indoor tv

Should be wired coming in from wall on outside wall and wires coming from top. Click image for larger version

If you have no hole in wall like mine they probably did not run the wires.

Are there wires coming out of the hole that you plugged the RCA wires from the DVD in to?

Yes. I would have to retrace to figure out what I did last August. But I believe I traced wires coming from walls that go out to outside tv. I would have to pull the DVDs/receiver again to be exact.

You should have a plate with female connections that your tv plugs into take that plate off to see if you have wires behind it. Those wires should be coming out somewhere close to the DVDs.

Only plates I have are coax plates inside and out. It's becoming apparent that the wires were never ran. Thanks for your help!

You should have four plates close to main tv mount. A coaxle, antenna booster, electric plug, and audio video. All for your TV to plug into.

I just looked at your unit on Internet. It looked like that model was not set up for DVD. I would call your dealer to find out. From pictures and 360 it looks like you just have an atennea booster with a coaxle. Is that unit just a CD player and not a DVD?

No it's a DVD also. I pulled the unit out and ran RCA cable to tv and played a DVD. I'll be contacting the dealer. Thanks so much for your help

Just got a reply email from Forest River. Although the TT was supplied with the DVD, production doesn't wire for it. Still waiting to hear back from dealer.

Works good outside. And doubles, so you can change radio station outside. Just need a converter to 12 volts to tap into the radio power supply.

Ordered the wireless unit today. Noticed the voltage input was 5 volts. Instead of buying dc to ac converter think I'm going to try to step down from the 12 volts going to stereo and hardwire it in
