We have the full carpet, and like it.
Give it a try.
And you probably don't want to wait for a new camper just because of that.

Bummer. Don't let it steal your excitement. Maybe get a written agreement from dealer to do it at some later date. Then use the carpet til its filthy then go for the new floor. I'm thinking that the Beau floor will cover any carpet tack holes. It'll probably be unnoticable. Enjoy.

It all depends how much the carpet is going to bother you...if you think you'll never get over it, get it redone or reorder new camper otherwise, keep it & be diligent on keeping it clean
Good Luck!

Wooden Stairs

I didn't like the look of the stairs in my new 36CKTS and everyday it got worse.

After purchasing matching linoleum from Forest River a friend and I squared of the front of the steps and did this.

I love it! I also love what you have attached to the screen door! Is that just a door knob pull?

I replaced the curved plexiglass slide that came with my Cedar Creek because the Screen Door Opener would not work on it. I purchased a flat slider and the Screen Door Opener from a local RV dealer.

I think the parts are available from Camping World.

Slide#6293
Door Opener#35177

Now I see what your asking about. The door pull is a stainless drawer pull from Menards . Be sure to use stainless screws to attach.

We got the wood look floor, so I'm quite certain the carpet tacks will show. Going back to the dealer tomorrow...looks like another build

But Joe, Is there anything under the carpet other than the real wood? I'm thinking that once the carpet is pulled, the plank linoleum will cover any nail holes when it is laid. But you can see it and know better than any of us. Hope it works out.

No danger of tripping on the edge, no lifting when vacuuming and the Velcro does not damage the finish.

We have the minimum carpet and the wood look linoleum and I've since removed the carpet apron in front of the slide. The carpet edge was held with lots of staples but you'd have a tough time seeing any holes in the lino.
