So I can stop feeling sorry for myself, stop making excuses.

Still haven't found the good wire stripper (or paddle bits). Still feeling sorry.

I finished the AC installation. The wiring is inside, under the valance, down along the fire escape zipper in a fabric sleeve, and across a cabinet top in a sleeve, slacked from the corner to allow the bed to slide in, and then down into a cabinet to the 20 amp plug. No cable to haul outside and plug in, and a thermostat that I can stick near where we are, say in a bunk, to get an accurate read and temp setting.
Details to come

FlacMac227 you should post pics somewhere for all of us to see. Sounds interesting what you did. I followed the factory spec'd install although I was tempted to run flex wire inside the PUP so I didn't have to deal with the outside plug in (which I've already forgotten to plug in AFTER the pup was all popped up. I'm vertically challenged so I carry a ladder with me when I go camping so I can reach things should I forget...
