I certainly can when it comes to movies/films involving aircraft. The Hollywood factor was certainly evident in the movie "Strategic Air Command" - most military aircraft buffs watch the movie strictly for the B36 and B47 footage and brush past the fluff.
Another movie is "Airport " where the Boeing 707 was struck in the mud and was blocking the runway during a snowstorm and an incoming aircraft needed to land.
Old Joe Petroni (sp) played by George Kennedy, gets in the pilots seat and literally blasts the 707 out of the rut by applying full power - that just don't happen - but it looks good on film.
Of course, the movie "Airplane" is just funny and that's all you can say about that one
