We are just glad that someone took some of the attention off of us. And we actually started to break even on how much it cost us for each airbag replacement😡

Yep. I'll delete my EGR and DPF, tune my car and take my chances before I let anyone turn up the EGR or DPF settings or do anything else that's going to kill the awesome TDI mileage. Once they do that, the engine is living on borrowed time, and of course, all those expensive emission components will fail after the warranty is up. It's the same thing that has been done to our diesel TVs over the past 10 years that have made them "cleaner" but less efficient and less powerful. My model doesn't have SCR (DEF/Adblue) but even the ones that do (2015 and up) are still included in this debacle.

When it comes to diesel--you can have clean, or you can have efficient--but not both.

I am keeping my DPF on the Ram EcoD, but first issue out of warranty, full delete. But, I got the EGR disabled on both the CRD and the EcoD.

Volkswagen senior management appear quite calm as they face this testing time.

Inside though, they're secretly fuming

Nice thing about Missouri... NO emissions testing on diesels, period. I'm hoping there are a lot of V-Dub diesels come for sale real cheap in the near future.

Everyone implicated in the Volkswagen emissions scandal is trying to pass the buck, cover up the facts and pass the blame on to someone else.

There's a lot of smoke blowing around.
