Build a Better Mouse trap

This is the best mousetrap I have ever seen, 5 gal bucket with a gal of RV antifreeze dumped in the bottom, plastic bottle with a coat hanger through it and some peanut butter on the middle of the bottle.

Lean a board up against the side and it works all year without checking it.

Not sure about not checking it for a year - seems like it would start smelling really bad after a couple of the critters were in it for awhile.

Concept is good and simple however

Not sure about RV antifreeze, but I believe car antifreeze will preserve the mice till disposed of. This might be reason for yearly check. With RV antifreeze, I assume the mice either drown or starve, but with conventional antifreeze, well we know how well animals love the taste.... Like the idea seen before, but think I'll try it this fall
