Another year, I believe 1964, we had 4 inches of snow on the 6th of June, we had peas up in the garden, snow was gone by noon.

So yes it was possible to have snow up to your arse.
Ha-ha... maybe you misread my sarcasm about the 'old days'!

We get somewhere around 150-200 inches of snow here annually. I know all too well about snow up to my arse!

I didn't miss it and I do know there are places that get more than enough snow. It's just that with the snow removal equipment the highway crews have now it's easy for people to forget the days of 50 - 60 years ago how people had to find their own way to get around in the back country. When I was in my teens it was my dad and the neighboring farmers who cleaned the county roads. Heck, we ran short of equipment before running out of volunteers to operate them.

If life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade...

then try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.

The Dentist said, "I'm going to give you helium gas."

"Will that stop me from feeling any pain?" I asked

"No," he replied, "But when you scream, it will be hilarious".

If dogs could text you they'd blow up your phone with "Ya coming home? Ya coming home? Where ya at? Where ya at? Oops, I destroyed something! Ya coming home? Ya coming home? Where ya at?"

If cats could text you, they wouldn't.

I took a photo of a mouse today.

He didn’t say ‘cheese’, but I could tell he was thinking it.
