I'll cut them some slack when it comes to forecasting ice and freezing rain amounts. living in one of the border areas the line between rain, snow or ice is pretty slim and often can't be determined until a few hours before it happens. For general stuff like thunderstorms or freezing temps I've found they always change what they said to match what happened. For these types of event I would think they would have progressed but ....
