don't forgot to turn off the compressor

So, last night we pulled over to our favorite campground, only 20 minutes from home. Had a nice Fire, kids to bed, and just relaxed looking forward to a beautiful weekend. Headed to our nice soft bed, windows open. Its going to be a great nights sleep! And it was, tight up till 3:17am when my little air compressor, I keep in the basement, had leaked enough air to kick on! The vibrations and noise, directly below our bedroom, scared the (insert you know what here) out of the dw. She wondered what was going on. Do we need to evacuate!?! She kept asking, "what are you doing?", as I ran outside in my boxers to unplug the thing!
So moral of the story;
When you find yourself using the camper air compressor for a little house work because your other two compressors are loaned out, make sure you turn it off when re-installing it in the camper basement.

Have a great weekend!

I thought the moral to the story might be that when you hear some kind of racket coming from your camping neighbors site late at night, and look out your window to see some guy running around in his boxers......not to worry, there's going to be a funny story to be heard the next morning.

It was pretty funny. Amazingly, there only one other camper here. And my own kids didn't wake with the noise, and they were just in the rear of the camper in the bunkhouse

Our water pump is directly under our bed. In spite of my efforts to insulate
it, it will wake us if it decides to run in the nite. I always try to remember
to shut it off. Also the red light on the switch is pretty bright...
