LMAO I'd get a similar response from my DW.

To be fair, she does pack some very thoughtful things for the trip. We've never missed anything while camping.

Its just the clothes, shoes and everything else that is nuts. Everything I need fits in a small gym bag.

I learned a long time ago to pick your battles and this my friend is not one of them.

I guess you could go to a "clothing optional" campground. Problem solved!!

AMEN!

At home we have stuff in our freezer that has not seen daylight in years. I bought a small chest freezer to unload the main fridge freeze, guess what, they are both packed full now.

In the TT "things" just show up in drawers or in the storage compartments. When I ask what is this I am told "I told you I bought this" or "I will show you later."

My DW does a lot of the prep for us camping and makes the trips worthwhile but sometimes I have to just sit back and smile.

Love her.....

We only stay at clothing optional or nude resorts. She still packs like we are moving. All I need is driving clothes and I can wash them and wear them home. Once there all we should need are towels to sit on and sunglasses.

Packing to go camping------------

I have upsized in campers three times and still don't and enough space! D/W swears the scales are off too.

Packing for camping

You better have safety toe shoes on when you open our 26 cu ft freezer door.

My DW actually keeps me alive. The arguments about packing and stowing is what keeps my blood flowing. If it were not for the high blood flow I get from her directions blowing through my veins, the doughnuts would have shut me down a long time ago. LOL...

We weighed our rig last time out... 300# under on GVW 200# over on rear axle.

My DW brings two of EVERYTHING including sewing machines!

We used to have an Airstream, when I cleaned it out I found china place settings for 8! We are doing slightly better with this rig.

My mantra is "Its better to have and not need, than to need and not have".

Until you hit GVWR. Then all bets are off.

We are seasonal so we don't have to worry about weight but for the most part, we pack pretty light.

In fact, we still have cabinets in our fiver that are empty because we don't really have anything to put in them.

I thought installing a washer/dryer in Wildcat would cut the need for extra clothes.

DW packs all the clothes, sheets/blankets, sundries and organizes the kids. I pretty much do all the rest. Guess who has the most?
