I can see it now...
Poor old Amos accidentally passes the FROG rally and leaves with airbags, dual rear wheels, and his boat trailer somehow configured as a fifth wheel, and his horse will have a DEF tank added as well as a backup camera and TPMS.
And then he will get pulled over for triple towing.

Never quite understood this.
Motor for transportation is a no no, hence the horse drawn buggies.
But does that translate to paddling the boat around? Nope, outboard motor is ok.
In any case...interesting picture....I'm snaggin' it for my pic library.

Brings up a good point.
We have amish near us and most of the kids have cell phones....
Albeit hidden from there parents.
We partied with the young amish folk last weekend.
They were a great time!

Looks like an early start for the FROG Rally at Goshen. Any thoughts about the TV, probably a diesel but some could argue that it is a gasser.

Must be a diesel, it leaves a stinky residue.

Back to my question;
did some searching...it appears the Amish can *use* other people's modern equipment (hence those working at Goshen) but cannot properly OWN their own.
So maybe he is leasing that boat and trailer.
I thought I remembered something about that while watching a "dirty jobs" type show where the Amish were involved in construction.

Weezer, I believe you are right. I watch Treehouse Masters and he employed a couple of young Amish guys to assist him with one project. They said they could use others power saws and power equipment, just not own any. Perhaps a "Long Term" boat lease?
