Flip flop, flop

Taking the short cut up the bank behind camper to throw away garbage and then take trip to loo wearing flip flops was not the best decision I ever made. Started sliding down hill, flops came off, I did a wild run down hill holding garbage bag like I was important to do so, across road, can't stop, don't hit BIG tree, watch out concrete picnic table, oh sheet, here I go. Landed on trash bag which saved me. Bag full of ribs and sauce. The tent campers next door thought they were my ribs and blood on my shirt. Lucky nothing broken. Didn't make it to bath house. Yes, I put enzyme packet in grey water tank. And no one caught it on video.

Seriously - glad you were not injured, but it sounds like you took one of a heck ride.

So I guess flip flops are no longer an outdoor option for you.

Sounds like you could have won on AFCV (America's Funniest Camping Videos) - if there was such a thing.

I get ridiculed at work about flip flops. I contest that "men" don't wear flip flops...or only in the house or at the beach or something. I am too old and tender footed to wear flip flops....can someone say stubbed toe or ripped off toenail? Funny. I wear my boots everywhere... easy to pull on to go outside to whatever. JMO
