Seems that people are voting with their dollars. Ram has made a lot head way against Ford and if Ford 2017 update isn't a hit just maybe Ford could be second in the HD sales in the near future. If Ram would fit in my garage I would of probably be driving one now

I don't keep them when warranty is up - Gas or Diesel. I can see a 2017 F350 in my future if they make a SuperCab that will fit in my garage.

All the brands use Western themes and manly sounding names. Powerstroke, King Ranch, Duramax, High Country, Ram Big horn. Silly perhaps, but men want tough trucks with tough sounding names and truck marketers know this. There is a reason trucks don't come in pink.

Uhhh. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Ram say not to put a camper on the back of a 2500 at all because of the wussy coil springs??? RV delivery driver I was talking to the other day said his DMax was in the shop so he had to rent the Ram 2500 he was driving to make this delivery. Said he HATED the way it handled. Just wasn't planted like his Chevy always felt. I pointed out the coil springs he wasn't aware of.

It's satire, bud. Nobody is putting a 5,000lbcamper in the back of a 3/4t. Let's rephrase that, nobody with half a mind.

The power wagon is the only 2500 model that recommends no slide in camper. All the others are ok if you stay within limits. They are a pregressive rate coil and sag less than the new F250 with their light leafs.

For the record, I like my 2500 ram.

Never said anything about sag. Said something about stability. I've never towed with one, but the RV driver that pulls for a living I just talked to was complaining about the handling characteristics and he wasn't even aware of the coil springs. Glad you like it, though. Bud.

I am a loyal Dodge owner and have been since 1996 but I sell a lot of F550 service trucks and I am not a fan of the 6.7 Ford engine. I have had several replaced at around 30K miles. I was told the other day that the 450 and 550 chassis has the engine detuned and that was the reason they have so much engine problems but not for sure. The Cummins is a proven engine and I will stay with that until Ram quits installing them which I hear they plan to.
