I got it brother, thanks.
Chebby's and De'ogee's seem to be real popular around here. I guess it's because the parts are so cheap. Junk yards are full of them...
Round two.

Must have been a used truck as Dodge no longer makes trucks. They are now RAM trucks.
By most auto journalists Ram trucks are by far the quietest and best riding of the three. Cummins is only the iceing in the cake.
Pick what you like the best and can get the best price on.

I was a Ford guy till I had to buy a diesel truck and the F350 wouldn't fit in my garage!
Missed it by 3"!
Fit and finish wise my Ram 3500 Laramie blew the doors off the F350 Lariat by a long shot!

That's what she said!
I'm fortunate my car garage is oversized. Ram, barracuda, Victory CC, and quad all fit.

I'd buy any of them as I have. It is just what tickles my fancy at the time I'm looking. But I still can't resist.

Challenger. The last Barracuda rolled of production lines in 1974.
I can tell you a Hellcat challenger hitting 190+ on a dyno is a sight to be heard.

You are absolutely right, I have a 39 Pontiac torn down in the garage, moving a body panel is work. I could take a bowling ball and drop it on the hood, it would just bounce and leave no mark. I wouldn't try this on anything built today.

Replacement alot of times is cheaper compared to the labor involved.
What totals out a vehicle so quickly is airbag deployment. Reason being is after a crash the insurance company has to factor in ALL of the SRS components if there was a deployment. That means not only the deployed bag but also all the sensors, the module, clockspring, ect. associated with it. Plus the labor quickly adds up greater than the value of the vehicle. Especially if it's over 5 years old.
