I'm not really judgmental about Ford and Chevy, they both equally suck in my book!

I do have to say though for those who drive a chevy or a ford... I do have to thank you for at least going that route and not stooping to a Nissan or a Toyota!

Sorry cheatwood! Didn't want to leave you out of the roasting!

Q. What's the difference between a Dodge and a shopping cart?
A. A shopping cart is easier to push.

I grew up with Black and Tan that someone had dropped off at his farm. What a hound! Then I ran Walkers while in high school. Pretty much gave it up when in my area everything went to compation hunting. You can't buy a good hide dog for under about $2500. Sorry for hijacking this thread!!!

Dodge Ram. Two verbs that mean you may have too much truck.

I have a 2001 Chrysler. When I look around under the hood I find Daimler parts.
Do they have Fiat parts under the hood now?

Also... acronyms can be worrisome:
Found
On
Road
Decaying

Actually I'll drive anything long as it pulls the trailer.

Oil Burners in my life:
6 fords 4 - 7.3's in trucks then the 2003.5+ Excursion 6.0 which by the way never broke (but I never towed with it either). But I learned just how "NOT LOVED" it was when I tried to sell it. The first 10 phone calls were "Is it 7.3 or 6.0" Well its a 6.0 sir, - "Nevermind" click! Finally sold it.
Then 3 years later my wife hated the Nissan we bought and wanted another Excursion - so this time I paid about 4 grand more for an older one to get a 7.3 again. Which make PS #6.

Then we decided to get a 5th wheel for next camper so we needed a truck again. Could not find a good 7.3 under $15K (unless it had almost 200k miles on it) so I finally test drove a 2005 Dodge 5.9 common rail. Which was a difficult step for me - I had sworn off Dodges 20 years ago!

Oh my God! Made that 7.3 feel like a slug! So I got on the forums to see what was popular (didn't want to make the Powerstroke 6.0 mistake again). And read most said 5.9 was the way to go "Pre emissions cummins"

Now I have had my 2006 5.9 for 4 years and I have been officially converted.

Lucky for me the 48RE is still going strong at 187K miles (but they tell me, that is the weak link).

Today I would rather drive my Dodge cummins any day over my wife's 7.3 excursion! And the fuel economy is waaaaay better!

Sorry for writing a novel!
