You hit on a very touchy political point. There are those who believe we should keep and refine our own oil, there are those who think we should not refine in Canada.

I think the real reason we export our oil to the US is we don't what to be invaded!

and diesel the same $4.92

Seems like we are all paying way too much...
The refineries for the Bay area are just 45 minutes away & regular is $4.35 a gal @ the cheap stations in Silicon Valley.
Saturday went to fill the Tahoe for our camping trip next weekend & a "C" note bought me 3/4 of a tank (26 gal tank)...
