I'm not sure what good the wheel chocks are for..

... When they're 2" below the bottom of the tire. (Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to rotate the picture.)

Makes a nice launching platform.

Is this your rig?

Actually looks like a clever idea. Looks like he is parked on a pretty good slope and drove up on the levelers before engaging the landing gear preventing negative pressure on the cylinders which are for more straight in and out lift...

Somehow I doubt that...

I have those same yellow chocks and I crushed one of them with my 9900# 5'ver...

I think it is just in case he has a flat tire!

That is the same lame excuse many give against using slide stabilizer stands...

I believe you all are over thinking this no matter what the yellow pieces are chock or levelers. He simply placed the "chocks" in front of his tires when he parked. When he leveled, the wheels lifted up and he just left the "chocks" in place for when he sits it back down upon leaving. It happens to us sometimes with our level-up on really uneven campsites … I just leave the chocks in place so they will do their job when the tire sits on the ground again.

Chocks, pieces of wood, bricks, levelers, ramps … no matter. I agree with you and guyster about application … I just think he left them there after he leveled like many of us, I just don't see anything crazy here.
