Joke - Football

Three Browns fans were standing in line at a convenience store complaining about how the Steelers made it to the Super Bowl instead of their beloved Browns.

"I blame the management staff," said the first, "because if they would sign eleven new players we could be a great side."

"I blame the coach and the players," said the second, "because if they would make some effort they might at least score a few touchdowns."

"I blame my parents," said the third, "because if I'd been born in Pittsburgh instead of Cleveland, I'd be supporting a decent team!"

This game is a joke. I'm outa-da-money. What was the spread? Three and a half?

As "Dandy Don" Meredith used to say, "Turn out the lights, the party's over." Apparently it's true.

Last I saw SF mounted a comeback. It was 28-23 going into the 4th.

BAL -34

SFO -31

Bal should have been called for pass interference on the last SFO try for a TD - don't care what the DW says.

Nope. The ball was uncatchable. It was a good first half. I too was wondering if someone from san Fran pulled a switch. This wasn't the first game san Fran was in that this happened. Oh well too bad, they lost anyways. My beloved ravens won. Capping off a wonderful day in which I had a new niece born in Baltimore 2 hrs before kickoff. My mom joked they should have called her Raven Victoria for a Ravens victory.

Congrats on the new niece. Not so sure on the uncatchable ball though.

Thanks. It seems a bunch of women were in the same baltimore hospital my sister was in, delivering babies the same day. I guess the ravens spirit/excitement was so much that we needed a bunch of new ravens fans!

It's my understanding that next year the major sponsor of the Super Bowl will be motel 6, because they leave the lights on for you.

Were all of the husbands able to stop by the hospital after the game?

I think that's why the women all delivered before the game... So the men could go have a beer and watch the game after delivery. No lie this is my 2nd niece born around a Super Bowl. My oldest sister broke her water about 2 hrs after the 98 Super Bowl. We all joked her husband threatened her not to go into labor during the Super Bowl.
