If you can't make a simple question sound like an accusation, you're not qualified to be married.

I just threw some salt over my shoulder for good luck. Ended up smashing a mirror with the salt shaker.

Marriage is like a bad game of monopoly.

Losing money from the word "Go".

I hate all this political correctness, changing the names of things so they seem friendlier.

For instance when I was a kid, Alcoholic Anonymous was simply referred to as marriage.

I gave the wife a present for our first anniversary, as a sign of our marriage.

"What's this handbasket?" she queried. "And where are we going?"

I read that 50% of marriages end up in divorce, so that is 1 in 2 people.

Which means that it will either be me or my wife.

Escape", also known as "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)", is a song written and recorded by British-born American singer Rupert Holmes for his album Partners in Crime. As the lead single for the album, the pop song was recommended by Billboard for radio broadcasters on September 29, 1979,[1] then added to prominent US radio playlists in October–November.[2] Rising in popularity, the song peaked at the end of December to become the last U.S. number one song of the 1970s.
Another case of mistaken who did what.

With 50 years worth of music from classic to acid running thru the ol' brain synapses it is a small wonder I can remember any of them and is of no surprise I get one mixed up now and again.

I was just refreshing " Duck" Dunn's classic bass chords from Green Onion while looking for info on the Escape song..

Marriage is a lot like an old lighter. Plenty of gas, but the spark is gone
