Cardiologist And The Motorcycle Mechanic

A mechanic was removing a cylinder-head from the motor of a Harley motorcycle when he spotted a well-known cardiologist in his shop.

The cardiologist was there waiting for the service manager to come and take a look at his bike when the mechanic shouted across the garage.

"Hey, Doc, want to take a look at this?"

The cardiologist, a bit surprised, walked over to where the mechanic was working on the motorcycle.

The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked, "So Doc, look at this engine. I open its' heart, take the valves out, repair any damage, and then put them back in, and when I finish, it works just like new.

So how come I make $39,675 a year and you get the really big bucks when you and I are doing basically the same work?"

The cardiologist paused, smiled and leaned over, then whispered to the mechanic...........

"Try doing it with the engine running."

Hate to split hairs here, but being in the medical field it would be remiss if I didn't say that a Cardiologist is not a surgeon, so he wouldn't do that either. Funny joke though.

And to think, the mechanic might even have to offer a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty, bet the Dr won't do that

This is a true story of a Doctor who worked at the same facility that I did. He was a surgeon and would always butt his nose in places that weren't his business. During some renovations in a hospital one time, he stuck his head around the corner and said to the construction worker as he was hanging some drywall, "you can also put a little puty there to cover of those mistakes sonny." The construction worker turned to him and said. "well, it takes 6' of ground to cover up your mistakes." The surgeon walked away red faced.

Snap! Good comeback on the part of the construction guy.

Funny joke Herk. I will repost it on a few biker forums I haunt.

That hair split was right down the middle.

So, what is a heart surgeon called (besides "Doctor" of course!)
