That hole in the floor is in Paris???? 
And the one in the Smithsonian is a trick question. It's in the space section...so SPACE is correct!

You found the one I got wrong.
I have been to latrines in Paris and that one is par for the course. I believe it has a lot to do with the repatriated citizens from North Africa at the end of France's colonial period.
Or, it could just be the French...
