Puzzle - What's for dinner

Recipe:

First you throw away the outside
Then you cook the inside
Next you eat the outside
And then throw out the inside

What's for dinner?

*********

Yes, it's real food.
No, it's not a trick.
If you know the answer, let the others ponder for a few days.

Enjoy!

Chicken. Remove the skin and feathers, cook, eat outside, throw away bones.

Pardon my neglect in not giving the correct answer sooner, but Corn on the Cobb is correct.

Now go figure out the alphabet puzzle.
