I think a square will always render the largest area for any specific length of fence. JT

Classic - but you guys are killing my productivity at work
I PMd my answer on how mtnguy beats us.

Possibly......but possibly not for this riddle. Jtant, I actually left a clue in the riddle where you were concerned. The key to the solution is in what you did (or didn't do)

You were correct in the PM.

Now, in my version of this story I did add that everyone had been partaking in the spirits around the campfire....which gives all those named an excuse if they don't get it right.
If anyone else knows the solution, just go ahead and post it for everyone to see.

Yep, Chap just made a circle of fence around himself, and declared he was on the outside of the fence.......while the rest of the world was on the inside.
Simple...... least amount of fencing, most amount of property.
I just hope with there being a lot of alcohol involved, that mtnguy didn't use barb wire fencing to circle himself with.

Bubba: "Ummmm ok huhu"

Chap: "Bubba give me my beer back!"
Bubba: "Sorry Chap..I done did drunk it"
Moral of the story?

But what if they decided to run electric fencing......which probably seemed like a good idea at the time? It might be a real bummer when Chap had to, uh...uhm....get rid of the kidney filtered alcohol.

Back home in Indiana tonight after spending the weekend in St. Louis for a nine-year-old granddaughter's birthday party.
I'm back in the saddle again, and will be back in the office tomorrow.
