Yep. Neat. The VW I remember didn't have enough power to pull itself let alone a hippy mobile mansion!!
But looking at the two exhaust stacks I guess he has a bit more power.

The First Guideline
(This guideline was first used by the RV Consumers Group rv.org)
For the first 110" of wheelbase, this allows you 20' of trailer.
For each additional 4" of wheelbase, this gets you 1' more of trailer.
Wheelbase / Trailer length
110" = 20'
114" = 21'
118" = 22'
and so on

That is interesting. With my trucks 158" wheelbase the "first" guideline says that I am allowed a 32' trailer. My 5er is 31'11". Whew. I almost had to sell it for something that would meet the guideline.

On the other forums some people treat this as some kind of law. I don't.

Old coot, I guess I have to use some of your tools and know how... According to "the guidelines" I have to cut my TT in half so I can safely pull it.
Maybe I can stretch my truck to make it longer, do you have any come alongs we can do this with? LOL!!!

I have a frame stretcher/shrinker I use before/after I hook on the 5er. Comes in very handy, it's portable so I take it with me to FL and everywhere I go.
