Strangest things found in your campsite

Haven't seen this before but think about it every time I find something left behind by previous campers.

I'll start with this one. On numerous occasions I have found the little weiner roasting forks. I usually leave them for the next group.

Two years ago we camped at St. Joe's State Park in the Florida panhandle. When we got to our site it was full of trash the previous campers left, including a huge blue carpet! We had to clean it all up prior to pulling in. I don't know why the campground employees didn't clean it up, but we were left to deal with it.

The Site next to ours when the Toy Hauler pulled out there were "32 New brake backing plate retaining nuts,6 used outer hub bearing, and used cut off wire splices" from a "Axle Factory Mobile Service Team"They had replaced all the Brakes and Hubs and used the underside of the 3 axle TH as a "Trash Area"! I once found a Class A RV, 3 people, a TOAD plus all their accessories.

They were the previous occupants of my site who were late checking out and were still there when I arrived.

Our German Shepherd Dog likes to find balls and bones ... we usually tether her so she only has a couple feet of range into the brush or thick, which makes it all the more amazing.

Three weeks ago, a friend who visited our campsite came found a white leather ladies golf shoe.

Not our site, but once at Sandbanks Provincial Park we found one of the two weight distribution bars from a Reese Mini 350 WDH, left behind by a couple towing a T@B. We brought it to the park office and I hope it was reunited with its owner. I'm guessing they weren't using enough weight distribution and it fell off after hookup.

We once found an entire tent in the site next to us. The tent, poles, stakes, even the storage bag. It was all just laying there in the grass. Not set up or anything. We pulled in around 6 on Friday and by the time we were ready to leave on Sunday nobody had touched any of it.

Many years ago we stayed at a campground on the Apple River in Wisconsin. We arrived on Monday, July 5th. The entire campground was covered with the remains of thousands of firecrackers and bottle rockets. It looked as if there'd been a ticker-tape parade!

Ditto but mine were towing a small pop-up behind a big Toyota SUV. We just parked down by the lake for an hour and came back to camp.

Back on subject...a few years ago, I found about a 2-foot section of dark brown (plastic) molding underneath my trailer. I searched Rocky from top to bottom trying to figure out where it came from to no avail. I see the thing every time I open my storage compartment! (Murphy's Laws says as soon as I throw it out I'll see where it came from!)

A dog chained to the picnic table. Good thing for the people the dog was stuck with that the dog does not have opposable thumbs or other capability to reverse the situatuon.

People from a few sites came over and took the dog, with no explanation. We left without staying after a loose dog incident a few minutes later.
