It is funny because come fall time,40 seems below freezing up here in the north but once you go through a whole winter, 40 seems almost tropical. Definitely sweatshirt weather compared to what we just went through.

Saw a guy out in just a T-shirt while grocery shopping today. OK he was wearing pants too, but no coat. I agree with travyp, had it been a average winter 40 wouldn't seem so warm.
