Reminds me of the old joke: When going out into bear country take pepper spray to deal with bears, and wear bells so you don't startle a bear by sneaking up on them. It's also good to know the difference between black bear and grizzly bear sign.
Black bear scat looks like bear scat. Grizzly bear looks like black bear scat, except it smells like pepper spray and has bells in it.
