Task Master tire funny story

I know that a lot of our members don't necessarily like Task Master tires, but you may get a kick out of this one.

We had a customer that had a Task Master ST 205/75D15 tire today. Even though the picture isn't real clear, can you see what is funny about it?

After 5 guesses, I will point it out if nobody sees it.

Wrong rim... it's not centered?

That's part of it, and you are so close.

I also had to edit the first post. It was a Task master labeled tire, not Tow Master...............but that is irrelevant.

The valve stem appears to be slightly off centered.

That's close enough. Maybe if I zoom out on the pic, it'll be easier to spot.

The proper answer is that he mixed bias ply tires on rear with radial tires on front....which is a big no-no. That's dangerous, and he could lose control.

We laughed fairly hard about this, then started thinking what if they did lose control, or the wedged on wheel fell off............who might have all been killed.

You can't fix stupid..............but we did get their correct wheel and tire back on the vehicle.....................and had something funny to talk about in the forums. It's all good now.

And I still occasionally see people speeding around with one of those donut tires on.

If I'd known you had nuttin' to do today except sit here and post I'd have brought that hitch down there for you to adjust.

And before you snark at me, I've already *done* a full day's work.

And HWWBK just pulled in the drive.
