I assume he's broke down & decided to open the slides & chill while he waited for mobile mechanic...why not be comfortable!
I'm just trying to think like a Ford owner (looks like a F250) ,)

WOW!!!

I am unsure how comfortable they will be when a car or truck takes out the slides outs overhanging the travel lane!

His width is probably about 11 feet with the slides out and hopefully there wasn't a slide open on the other side of the trailer. Regardless he's over the legal width limit without a permit.

If one was available, I think a mobile repair tech would have been a better solution.

Think of how much time he will save when he parks.

Can't help but wonder just how some people are wired, or how their thought process works. You can't fix stupid. Even a non-RVer knows, something just doesn't look right.

He's WAY over to the right. I wonder if he has a problem and couldn't retract them? Wait, there's manual overrides....I don't have slides, what do I know.

Maybe he's just moving sites......?

That was my immediate observation. Obviously he *knows* his sliders are out since he's straddling the white line on the right.

Whatever the reason (didn't know how to manually retract them, or couldn't manually retract them) he obviously knows they're out and is just trying to get it home or to a repair facility.

Not smart.

See. That's why you're supposed to use your slide locks.

You guys are rough

Give the guy the benefit of a doubt - maybe he had a good reason to have the slides out although I can't think of even one.
