I don't know where you got that from Bob, but they need a lesson in geography. Mt. Rushmore's backside points at Wyoming, not Canada.

Still, we usually do get the backside view. Take the Detroit River for instance. From the Canadian side, we look across and see this:

To be fair though, that's only if we look left. Look to the right and we get to see:

Yeah, we're actually east of Windsor, more under the lake than the river.

You'll have to let me know the next time you're up this way. Might be able to pull off a joint weekend somewhere.

Btw, there is one kind of attraction that we've got you beat with the view from the Canadian side:

Quite true. It looks pretty good from a boat too. I guess that is the CanAm view

I don't know, I think I prefer the view from the American side.

Having some McDonald's poutine with lunch recently triggered a memory that I had never answered this for you.

I don't know if it's the best, but they've got some really good poutine at Route 42 Diner (Route 42 Diner & Dairy Bar -). So far we've tried the Gravy Train, the Loaded Chili Cheese and the Chevy. All have been great.

Had to look up Poutine - frankly it initially sounded like something that would happen to me after a visit to McD's. That looks... interesting.

We just got a new hockey arena complete with Tim Horton's down the street. I'll have to recommend the local diner make poutine to get the players in.
