I am a mix of over prepared camper especially with my wife packing 10 pairs of underwear for a weekend camping trip. And the party camper but not to the extreme the little cartoon shows. I am respectful of other campers that may be around me. But a drink or two around the camp fire with some friends is always nice.

Currently I am a sad camper who is in withdrawal! Awaiting spring and warmer temps to flush that pick juice right out of my lines. Come spring I will be a mix of the overprepared, partier & wishful retiree!

Friendship never looked better than over the rim of a cold one, but I totally agree with you that the key to having a civilized drink involves having respect for everyone else in the vicinity.
I probably travel with too many wine glasses, but they are acrylic and light and will bounce right back up into my hand if dropped (LOL).

I'm definitely a bit of the over prepared camper. Whatever you're looking for, we've got it in some form. Although our own kids are grown, I have a way of attracting them in the campground, so I guess I'm a bit Daycare camper too. Ah, but lastly, my favorite thing in the evenings is to sit around the fire with some friends, a drink in my hand, and a bit of background music (at a respectable volume), so I guess that would be the party camper. It seems we all have a good mixture of camper type in us!

We have some stainless steel wine glasses from REI that we received as a gift. Haven't used them yet, but I think the base comes off to serve as a cover to help avoid spills. I would say it's a bit over-prepared!

No acrylic wine glasses but I do have acrylic martini and high ball glasses. I guess that makes me a partier

I love the acrylic glasses! They look amazingly like glass and you don't feel like you are drinking wine or beer out of plastic!

I'm closest to Roughin' It. National Forest Service, in the mountains, hand pump water, vault toilets, no electricity, miles from nowhere. BUT, I still have heat, my shower, and a refrigerator. That poor Surveyor has been dragged into some beautiful places but over some very nasty, rutted, rocky dirt roads. But that's how you get quiet and solitude!

I filled 10 large totes with stuff out of my camper when I sold it last week. I think that may say that I am the overprepared type. I had enough tools to rebuild a 747, and not one but two complete sets of silverware in there. It was almost like moving out of a house. Now I've got to save up, find me a much cheaper used camper, and load all that stuff back in there.
