You can't outrun the police in an RV

Apparently, a wanted guy led the police on a semi-high speed chase in Oklahoma in an RV. His tires were out and sparks were flying. One news report said they were concerned about the propane tanks blowing. Here is some videos and news links to this event:

Maybe they were on their way to Goshen.

You can't outrun the police in a RV or any other vehicle with wheels, but stupid criminals try it all the time.

Here in DFW we recently had another guy in a car with warrants try to escape police, but he finally stopped, got out of the car, pointed a pistol at numerous police and was shot dead.

You just can't outrun police radios or their helicopters.

I understand that Dallas police no longer use those nail strips to stop cars - said it was too dangerous.

Supposedly, these folks when they finally stopped tried to run away. Were drug dealers or haulers.

How many cops does it take to stop a disabled RV, apparently a heck of a lot of them just as well they didn't want to change a light bulb.

ROFL

The news said the female with him wasn't arrested. Can someone call Ms Amy and see if Turbs needs bail money?

I went ahead and warned the other moderators to pay close attention to any future classified listings, especially something like this:

Used RV for sale. Needs some work along with replacement of front left tire, rim, brakes, hub, spindle, bearings. Decided to give up RV'ing for 8-12 years, maybe less depending on good behavior. Serious inquiries only. RV can be viewed/picked up at Oklahoma City Impound Yard.

Ok, I chuckled at that one. Nicely done.

Regarding the incident in my above post,I was wondering the same thing. I counted 15 black and whites plus I don't know how many unmarked units from the helicopter video.

One thing to remember around DFW and I guess other large metropolitan areas is that sometimes these chases cross thru several different cities, especially when on the interstates as this one was and each city involved joins in adding to the mix.

This guy had warrants out for him ( it was a felony stop) so additional precautions were necessary.

If some idiot points a gun at our DFW police, they are going to shot you. I guess stupid criminals never learn that however.
