update
Boatman, thank you for the inquiry.
Yes some major updates have come and my apologies for not following through. About the time of the post 3-26-2019 I was reaching in every direction in attempt to get this process started. All in the same day, I hired an attorney, Filed a Lemon Law complaint through my State Department of Motor Vehicles, Filed complaints with Better Business Bureau and personally wrote a demand letter to Forest River with corresponding email notifying them of my above actions. Attorney wrote Demand letter 3-28. 3-29 I got a call and email that upper management @ FR was reviewing my case. 4-4 I received an email that they agreed to pick my unit up for repair and would get it scheduled in coming weeks. Trailer was picked up 4-16 and transported to Goshen, Indiana to preform all repairs. I have received weekly updates through the process through simple emails to the rep handling my case. He has responded on every interaction promptly. Repairs have been completed and trailer has been repainted. Lippert preformed a frame correction to stabilize the fifth wheel area which seemed to be the major cause of all of this. Last I heard they were finishing up some electrical repairs on the slide and buttoning up the completion. I am currently waiting to hear next steps and am anticipating the return of the trailer in weeks ahead. It seems that the filing of the lemon law case with the state of Texas in conjunction with the demand letters was what got this process started. I will post again when I take possession of the trailer .
