32 SRV Onan Generator install - WIldwood

I picked up an onan 4000 generator that will fit into the generator compartment, but having some issues on the mounting

The compartment has a lip around the compartment but under it has sub floor that goes about 7" below the bottom of the bottom of the door of the compartment. I think I have to fab up a mounting plate with baffles for the cooling air. Onan sells one, but it is 11 inches tall and I only have 7" to work with
I am wondering what people have underneath thier generators to hold it into place, pictures would be great
