Air Lift Questions

I'm thinking about installing an Air Lift on my 2003 F250 to help level and correct a bit of squat/sag when towing my fully loaded Toy Hauler and full truck bed.
Does anyone have good or bad experience with them.

I have the old fashioned manual fill type on our truck and I love them for towing. Just hate when I forget to air down when I don't have that load on. Makes the back a little firm.

I used Airlift 5000 (I think) it was on a 2001 Dodge Maxi-van and it cured rear end sag... I just used the stock manual air-ups run to the back bumper... a few pounds of air made all the difference with leveling.

I installed the air lift 5000 on my 2018 Duramax. It took me a while to find that perfect setting. Not sure if you are trailering or 5'er. Leveling is a good thing but remember you are leveling camper as to truck. To high causes weight to transfer to back. You got to find that perfect setting. I also added the Trailair bag system to my camper which also helped with chucking and slamming. So all in all I love both of mine. Go for it.

Ive had the auto level feature and now the remote feature. The auto level was nice, didnt have to do anything. I love mine.

I went ahead and bought the manual fill type, from what I've read most have run the Schrader valves to the rear, near the bumper or license plate.
My question now is: do you install a gauge with it, for a quick visual verification?
BTW I have a 2017 Grey Wolf 26RR tow behind.

I have the Airlift kit on my DRW F350. The kit is bolt on and functions well. No complaints.
Just make sure you order the correct kit depending on if you have a gooseneck hitch or not.

Recommend running separate lines to each bag rather than the T-type, as this helps with sway if the air pressure can't transfer between bags. I haven't seen a setup that has a gauge installed like that without running airlines to the gauges inside the cab (which adds a layer of complication to the install). A regular tire gauge that goes to 100PSI will suffice.

Once you know your magic number, just make it part of your tire check. Tire pressure gauge checks them just fine.

I have the AirLift 5000's with the Wireless One compressor setup. I have had AirLift 5000's on my old truck and also Firestone bags on the truck before that. I am happy with the AirLift and absolutely happy with the compressor. Manually inflating/deflating sucks. I am too old for that crap and i am only 40.

I have the airlift 5000 syst em in my 08 tundra. With wireless one remote. Been using it with fiver towing since 2009. So 9 years old. Only a couple issue. About to install 3rd compressor as my mounting location above the left wheel wheel isn't the best. Manifold went bad once and $75 got it rebuilt from airlift.
Easy to find sweet spot as you can adjust while driving and towing with various weights. Makes a big difference on highway joints and bridges sections.

running Air lift with on board compressor on my 05 f250. i run about 40lbs with my loaded 23pack15 wolf pack.
