That worked perfectly. I installed two L brackets on each side of that board to help hold it in place. Seems to work for now but I wonder how long it will last.
I also installed more screws in the outside trim since it was coming loose. I applied caulk in the places that I had to install extra screws. I think I found the leak from the shower wall and caulked a seam to fix that problem as well.

Has anyone put an AC in the garage of a Vengeance? I was wondering if it had wiring from factory.

I haven't had mine long enough to even think about that. I just use a small fan near my glass sliding door to help get cool air back there. I'm thinking about mounting a fan higher up on the wall somehow.

Rear Ac Vengeance 398 V
Living and camping in Texas, this was a huge deal for me. Dealer told me it could be done, I paid them an extra $1200 to do it. The service manager called me and invited me down to the shop. Turned out it couldn't be done for a few reasons:
- No Structural Supports in the rear roof
- NO electrical wiring in this area either
- 3 AC units require a variable switch that allows them to work together due to electrical limitations, one cycles out before the 3rd ac kicks in.
It was almost a deal breaking decision for me, deciding to move to touring with factory 3 units. It fouled many other things I liked about it. In the end I decided not to and stayed with the 398v and got my 1200 dollars back.
We have camped through the summer in blazing heat and we never really notice it. - I purchased 4 Vornado fans strategically placed throughout the unit to keep the AC circulating. (these fans are awesome and very worth the amount of money they cost)
- I personally tinted every window in my trailer with the highest strength reflection tent available. Tint has a silver backing that really looks sweet on the outside of the camper. Additionally you cant see inside from the outside, ever.
With 100 degree exterior temps and no shade, the unit stays around 70-72 during the day in the main unit, hauler stays about 75. Trying our darnedest to keep the doors closed. When the sun goes down you had better grab a blanket.

Just curious. Did you all get a ladder for the bunk beds in the garage area? I didn't get one and my kids have a hard time getting on that top bunk, including the one that is 6'2".

No ladder with mine, I keep a 6' step-ladder in the unit to give me a boost when needed.

Okay. I had seen a lot of pictures online that showed a ladder but must have been an "option". I'll look for a taller step ladder down the road. I want to install some cabinets or shelves in the garage area and will need a tall ladder anyway.

Yes! We just purchased a 40D12 in June and we had it out for 10 days over the 4th of July. It was an upgrade from a Heritage Glen. The Vengeance is MUCH higher quality and comfortable. We also bought the extra warranty for $250. The signup from was in the camper paperwork, and shown to me at the walk thru.

I gave up on the factory ladder. I went to harbor freight and bought the ladder that it a step ladder/ extension ladder, not sure what you call it. We use it to get in the back top bunk & to access the roof if needed while camping. It was alot cheaper than the one's@ Lowes, when lower to the lowest level as a step ladder it's 4 steps which it perfect for getting in the back bunk. Went extended fully it's 17 feet as a extension ladder.

My 2016 Vengeance 320A didn't come with a ladder for the garage area either. I took the stops out of the lifting rail so the bed comes all the way down on top of the lower bed bench combo. So far I haven't needed to use the beds as a double decker. It did come with a ladder to access the sleeping loft area.

Go on their website and it's on sale right now for 139.00 normally it's close to 300.00. Only down side to it is it weighs about 30 pounds, but it's still easy to move around. I thought it would be alittle lighter if you can't find it let me know& I'll take a picture of it and send to you.

That's impressive. Most dealers hide that paperwork so you'll buy their 5 year extended warranty for $3000.

We just discovered that you can pull the couch out and it fully reclines! I thought the leg rest was the only part that worked.

Electra Glide,
We thought the same thing about our couch. A friend of ours has a similar couch in his coach and he is the one who showed us we could pull the couch out from the wall and make it recline all the way back. I thought it was bolted to the floor but nope it isn't. Also, after we pulled the couch out the wooden blinds work much better! WOW!

Thanks fellas for the info on the couch. We are camping now as well and we're enjoying the fully reclining couch now.
We also purchased 2 black bar stools cheap @ a yard sale and placed them at the island in front of the couch. I thought I had wasted my money cause they were to tall, then I cut 5 inches off the legs & they are perfect now. Just wanted to pass that along to others & by the way when the slides are in I just lay them down in the garage.
