Cabinet lighting?

My 29' XLR does not have enough light in the cabinets. I always need to use a flashlight to find stuff. I tried using the hockey puck lights I found at IKEA. I attached them with Velcro but they fall down, the glue does not hold on the heavy duty Velcro. What are some best practices? I think I am going to try the 3ft small battery operated rope lights. I can attach with clear caulk around top of inside cabinets or some small taped hangars. This should hopefully provide enough light. I can also use it as accent lighting under the wardrobe cabinets in the front bedroom. Thanks

If you have access to 12vdc, you can buy these at IKEA. Unfortunately they are only available in their stores not online.

www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50192073

They are Ledberg led sticks and come with three sections of Leds with an on off switch. They have an 110 vac power pack but are 12 vdc after the power pack/ plug. Cutting the power pack off and using just the switch you are able to mount them just about anywhere.

I put a bunch of harbor freight $3 led flashlights with magnet on back and glued magnets inside cabinet to hold flashlight in place

Cheap and easy install -

I bought a few puck lights that are battery operated LED. The ones I got also have motion sense on them and 2 different light brightness settings. I think I go them from Wal-Mart.

Motion sensing lights would be good inside the cabinets, as they would turn on whenever you opened the door and turn off after you closed it.

I'll be looking for some of those.

The ones I use are similar to these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000Q7BQWS..._t3_B001LJKLT4

My thermostat control is in a hallway with no light so I can't read the display. I bought these puck lights and installed it right across from the thermostat controller. I just tap the light when I need to adjust the air. Works perfectly. You could also install these in the cabinets and use either the motion sense or the tap feature.

I found these on the internet. Little leds battery powered. 3 ft length. Attached with small screws in a 1/4 cable strap. Just enough light to see instead of hunting for a flashlight.
