considering a 18' sierra

Hi All,

I am considering a 2007 model sierra toy hauler. It is the 18' model.

What do you think the value of it is? The owner is willing to take $8K.
Is there anything I should be concerned with?
Is this a decent rig?

I wanted something small enough to fit in my yard and light enough to pull easily with my 2007 Tundra.

Thanks!

Apparently no one has any experience with that model. As far as the line goes I can find nothing about it on the Forest River site. Are you sure it's a FR Sierra RV?

Sorry I couldn't help.

For reasons unknown, the Sierra is no longer made in a toy hauler model.

As for the Sierra, it's a good FR product line.

Depending on the condition, $8K sounds like a good price.

For comparison,
This '07 is listed at $14,999.

And this '06 is listed for $16,995.

that 06 you posted is the exact model. I walked through one at a lot today... also for $16K. Actually after looking more closely, the one I walked through is the one in the picture.

The one I found for $8K is a couple hours from my house and the owner doesn't have a camera (go figure). She said it was in excellent condition, and is just faced with some financial hard times...

at first she said it was an 08, then an 07... i pretty sure its an 06 just by looking at the graphics on it (she did send one picture). I think she bought it in 07, and its an 06. If it's as nice as she says, I might pick it up. Going to check it out in a couple days if it's still available.

I know this is the Forest River forum so you all might be a little biased, but I was just looking to hear if you guys think they are a good brand. I am new to RV's, and don't know much about them.

thanks all who posted... any other comments are appreciated.
