Electric Jack Upgrade

On our 27 foot Sierra, we had two minor complaints that we wanted to fix:
1) the tailgate would not open on our dodge because it would hit the jack lever.
2) the tongue was heavy and the jack beat the crap out of you going up and down to set the hitch and equalizer

We decided to upgrade to a 3500 lb electric Jack and found one on sale at Walmart for $90! Decided to jump on it. Wired it to the battery with weather resistant connections and loved it! However the motor sat in the front of the Jack and our tailgate would hit it. Opened the motor housing, rotated it 180 degrees and BAM! Tailgate now can be opened all the way with the trailer connected!
Sooooo happy.

Attached is the final product
