fuel station problem - Sierra

We just bought a used 2006 Sierra Sport toyhauler.Put some gas in the fuel station to try it out. When we purchased we were told we had to turn on two switches, one inside and one outside. Turned on the inside one and then, what we thought was the outside one. When we looked more closely it was the emergency shut off. Now we have no power at all. Lights on inside switch are dark and pump doesn't make any noise at all. Is there a reset somewhere? And is there actually a second switch outside somewhere or were we told wrong?

I think the inside switch allows you to use the outside switch .
inside has to be on to be able to turn it on outside .
kind of a gas theft deterrent if you will.
I would double check with your dealer to unsure proper use of switches .

I have a 2005 Sierra Sport toyhauler. To use my fuel station, I turn on the inside switch first (the light comes on- in the switch). Then go outside, position the fuel handle, then pull the outside switch and then the pump turns on and I dispence gas. My guess (armchair troublshooting) is the power to the inside switch is not there - possible a fuse blown, wire issue. I have not seen a reset switch, but I have not looked that hard for one wither.

Sound like a bad pump or a bad switch. let us know what you find.
