How thick Are The Garage Walls - Sport?

I have an 01 AASport. I'd like to hang some hooks in my garage to get my pop-up chairs off the floor. I usually use bicycle hooks but obviously those are too long to thread into the wall.

Am I assume there is a stud of some sort behind the walls? If so, how thick is it, and is it capable of carrying a load?

Has anyone screwed hooks in their walls and had success? If so, what did you use?

Don't know much about toy haulers, but in my enclosed trailers, I try and either pit a wooden cleat or metal rail system over a few suds to spread the load.
Something like this maybe?
