LED marker lights

Hi folks. I have a 2014 XLR27 and the top front yellow LED marker lights each have two out of three lights out. I can't see how to replace them without prying them off. Any ideas?

Need a photo of your marker lights.

Mine just pry off from a side.

They are EASY to change out with new ones and not too expensive.

WARNING - The wires are also EASY to drop inside the plastic front cap!
(Don't ask how I know)

I used alligator jaw vise pliers to hold the wires (after my goof) to keep them steady while I soldered the new wires to the existing ones.

I used butyl putty tape to reseal the body of the marker light to the wall/cap prior to snapping the lens back on.

Never did hear...

I'll mess with them after the season ends, but I've very disappointed that my calls and emails to FR were ignored.

I took the yellow cover off to replace the bullb. I took a small flat head with tape on the tip so not to scratch anything and pried up and out. Easy. The lens has two tabs on one side and one on the other and it just pops back into then light fixture.

Mine are different and folks at the recent Cincinnati FROG campout didn't know about it either. I'm going to wait until next season to mess with it. Don't really care THAT much.

Had the order ready to buy and replace all of my clearance lights with leds and then had second thoughts. We don't tow at night, so why bother?

Could you at least post a picture of them so we can see what your dealing with?

I found some pics online of your lights and I see what you have.

I think the whole unit snaps in and is replaceable but would like a closer pic to determine.

This is the best I could see.
I think it's a sealed unit that snaps in to the base.

Those are the ones. They are stuck on good with adhesive but I used a razor blade to separate it without hurting anything. Couch's RV was terrific getting a new set of three lights for me. Easy and done!

We've been really pleased with Couch's. They're in Middletown OH but sell everywhere. Service is good and prices are great. Click image for larger version
