Need new tires for Sandpiper 37SP

Need some new tires for my SandPiper 37SP. Just bought toy hauler yesterday and need to replace tires. Previous owner put new made in china tires on it three years ago and trailer has been sitting all this time. I am not going to taken any chances with made in China tires, especially ones that have sat that long.

So should I buy the Goodyear G614 tires or are there better ones out there? Trailer loaded is 16,000 tandem axle tire size 235/85R16/G

Want to hear what everyone else is using and if you ditched the 16's and went to another wheel and tire all together. Look forward to getting everyone's input.

Thanks
James

Check out Michelin Ribs as they receive positive comments by those who use them. Might be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I agree 100%. Michelin is the best by far.

The michelin ribs I looked at were load e rating I believe. Think they were 600 lbs shy of Goodyear load rating. Thanks for inputs. Hope someone will chime in about upsizing. Wish trailer was a triple axle

I am picking up a set of Goodyear out the door with warranty for $1,700

Looked into Michelin tires on 17.5 wheels that were H rated around 4500-4700 lbs but wheels and tires were 2300 plus shipping

Very happy with new goodyears. Ordered a dill TPMS but valve stems were wrong size. Larger diameter ones came in today but valve stems are like semi angled stems and stick out to far. What brand TPMS are you guys running?
