Outboard Motor in Toy Hauler

I have 9.9HP four stroke that needs to be transported vertically or at least about at a 45 degree angle so the oil does not go into the cylinders.
I am a little concerned about outboard motor carriers, because of their flimsy construction and supporting them vertically going down the road may be an issue.

Does anyone transport an outboard motor in their toy hauler?

Drain the oil and gas. Put on new oil filter, replace the plug and go for it.
