Palamino Unleashed Rain Gutters Dripping Down Sides of Trailer.

Howdy,

On the Puma Palamino Unleashed 27SBU the gutters that extend from the 4 corners of the trailer are no dripping the water away from the trailer sides.

My think is that at low flow the gutters allow the water to "stick" to the bottom on the gutters and flow back to the trailer sides. Has anyone had a similar problem and figured out a fix???

I have thought about that, and I planning to do that (thinking of RainX especially on the bottom of the gutters) but have you done this before and how well did it work???

I've sprayed the underside with pam and it works great. It just breaks the adhesion of the water to the plastic. Car wax would work as well.

I believe this was talked about on a another thread. There solution was to cut a small section of rubber hose and slipped it over the extension. This stopped the water from going back & diverted it away form the camper. I was going to try this but have not gotten to it yet.

Maybe I missed it, but they sell raingutter extenders at camping world. I put these on mine, they stay put even when towing.

I read in another forum that some folk just use plastic clothes pins.

Hose extensions get plugged real easily. I cut about a 4" section of pvc, split it lengthwise, rounded the end and pop riveted to the existing gutter.
