Question about electrical - WIldwood

My tt has a 30 amp plug. I see some parks have 50 amp service. Can I plug in there or do I need a special converter. Also I am looking at a park that says it is 15 amp service. Do i need a different convertor or will it power the trailer.
Thanks

Most sites that have a 50A hookup also have outlets of 30A and 20A. I been told on here that there are some that are 50A only. There are adapter you can purchase to adapt the 50A outlet to your 30A plug in that case.

To use a 50 amp service with your 30 amp plug, you will not need a converter, but you will need a 30 to 50 amp adapter. Some CG's have both 50 amp and 30 amp outlets on the power pedestal, but it is still a good idea to have the adapter. You will also need a 15 to 30 amp adapter to use the 15 amp service. Be aware, the 15 amp service will most likely not power more than 1 or 2 of your ac devices at once, and may not power your air conditioner at all depending on the size of your air conditioner. Both adapters can be found at a decent RV store and Walmart carries some of the adapters.

A picture might help visualize the adapters I think should be in every camper's bag of tricks.

The black one will accept your 30 amp plug and allow you to plug into a 15 or 20 amp outlet. NOTE: you will only have 15 or 20 amps of AC available so watch your usage carefully. You may not be able to use all your AC stuff at the same time.

The yellow "pigtail" will accept your 30 amp plug and allow you to plug into a 50 amp outlet. NOTE: You will NOT be able to get 50 amps of power; you will still be limited to the 30 amps by your camper's main breaker.
