Ramp Springs

Has anyone changed the springs on their ramp to stronger ones so it is easier to raise and lower the ramp?

Thanks

I was under the impression those were gas charged operators and not springs.

No mine has the 6 springs along the hinge line.

I can hold the door but it is about 60 lbs of pressure, the part I am worried about is having to walk backwards with the ramp to lower it. My knees are shot after 3 surgeries and they are both bone on bone now so I am not very stable :-(

good to know thanks. Maybe the mfg could provide some info on upgrading the springs. Or maybe just replacing the old ones with new.
